La La Land iPhone app goes to Hollywood!
Yip, look to your left. That's a movie. Of La La Land.
She was just sitting in a drugstore having a chocolate soda with a vanilla sidecar when a big-time movie producer approached her.
She's Twin Peaks meets Wizard of Oz.

The end to weekly updates?
So, this is day 10 for my second 'weekly' update for "La La Land" to be stuck in "In Review," and I advertise that I will have weekly updates. I already have 10 weeks worth ready to go, but unless this is a fluke I'm going to have to take out the 'weekly' promise. Which is a shame. (I'll stop saying 'weekly' now.)There is a lot of talk concerning this lengthy review process. It seems to only get worse with time. iPhone Dev SDK Forum is a great resource. Here's a link to the appstore wait thread. I'm wondering if it'll be addressed at Apple's WWDC.

I have a new app, whatever!
Tested in the classroom, at home and on the job. You know you're getting tired of saying it all the time, now let whatever! do it for you...You know WHEN you want to say it.
You use ‘whatever’ when you’ve had enough and you can’t say what you really want to say.
Flip them off with a ‘whatever!’
Hit the button.
You know you want to.
What’s that?
Yeah - whatever...
Choose from 'Flo,' the ornery truck-stop waitress, 'Miguel,' the boss that treats everyone like an idiot, 'Bri,' the hot, flaky valley girl and 5 others. More voices with regular updates.
Hold your phone under the table and give your friends an unexpected whatever! Use it in the classroom or workplace to get away with a whatever! when you know you shouldn't say it, Use it anytime just because you can. Why should you have to be the one that says it? Pass off the responsibility, you have other stuff to do. Geeeesh!
8 different voices and more with regular updates. Go here and email me with suggestions for the voices you want to say 'whatever!' whether it be an angry old man, a certain accent, whatever! I'll be adding voices as updates, so send me an email and let me know.

Yo, like 'whatever!' app coming to your iPhone, like now!
Yeah, I know. But maybe blogging about the delay was the lucky charm. I changed the date this morning on a lark to today's date. Here's some info on what you need to know when your first app is 'Ready for Sale with the spring green dot. It's vital you change your availability date to that day's date.
Log into your iTunes Connect account and go to 'Manage Your Applications,' then under your app icon, 'Edit Application.' At the top choose 'Pricing' and you'll see 'Availability Date.' Change it to the current date. With my very first app, La La Land, I didn't receive an email that it was ready for sale, and I didn't know it was in the app store until I got an email from a customer, three days later. Yikes, that hurt.
I hadn't thought about this until now, but I should thank her.
The (potentially) very loooong wait in the app line
I'm waiting for my newest app, whatever!, to change from the yellow "in review" dot to that little green dot, that beautiful, translucent, spring green dot. Today is day 10. 10! 10 days!!!!!
I know 10 isn't outrageous, but it's long enough for me to begin getting anxious and for my imagination to go places I don't want it to.
I mean, this is a simple, simple app. Simpler than Gay Quotes or La La Land. So why the wait?
Some say it's possible Apple is taking longer, in general, these days due to being swamped with the 3.0 beta. Who knows? I know some have waited months!
The big question is, 'Why doesn't Apple hire more reviewers?' Clearly that would speed things up, keep the developers happy and make more money for everyone. Could it really not be worth the salary they pay reviewers?
All of us developers are reduced to gossiping like little girls during recess.

Gay Quotes has arrived in the iTunes store!
Maybe you already know that there’s a Gay Pride parade in Jerusalem, or that there’s a sculpture in N.Y.C. dedicated to the Stonewall Inn uprising or that Plato was an interesting guy. Even if you do, it’s nice to be reminded that not only are you not alone, you never were.Gay Quotes? There’s an app for that.
Gay Quotes is just a tap tap or a shake away whether you're having cocktails with your friends, waiting in line for an open table in a restaurant or exploring the sights and sounds of the Amazon.
Need an idea for a toast? Raise your drink and begin with a quotation.
Want a witty comeback? Snap back a sassy saying.
Like to ease a tense moment? Recite a thoughtful verse.
Trying to tell someone how you feel? Rely on a meaningful passage.
Tired of hearing the same old wine and complaint? Offer advice with a few wise words.
Images of global events, noteworthy places, historic plaques and monuments are overlaid with the words of those past and present who have played a part in standing up for what matters most, human rights - the right to be who you are and the right to celebrate it.
Entertaining and educational.
Play 'Gay Trivia' by covering up the top bar and see who can correctly identify the popular hot spot, well-known figure or historic monument.
You can look forward to regular updates for Gay Quotes, more images, more quotes.
